Watched this one yesterday. Classic western filmed in Inyo County.

  1. Mariette Hartley's very first acting gig. An absolute A-List of bad guys round out the cast as the cull members of the Hammond family, including the guy that Josey Wales offed after telling him "Dyin' ain't much of a living, Boy".

And then there's the fact that Sam Peckinpah directed it. What's not to love?

    1. Elmo. My absolute favorite line of all Clint Eastwood movies. "You a bounty hunter?" "Times are hard a man's got to do something for a living." Dying ain't much of a living boy." BLAM BLAM BLAM!

  3. Why I hold on to a Hulu membership, it includes Turner Classic Movies. When I watched this one I was amazed that somehow I had missed this classic all those years.

    1. First thing that came to my mind, as well. Blazing Saddles is a heck of a good movie.
