And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
They need to sell these in either industrial shrink wrap, or sealed in an aluminum tennis ball pop-top can, for all the little shoplifting f*****s who crack them open and steal the cups.
And Stanley is stupid for not making the lid pull either out of far more durable metal, like a D-ring, or else heat-resistant silicone. But a minute with a separate D-ring, and a propane torch, and that foolishness is easily fixed.
Back when I was doing my world wide, Satcom Earth station, install field engineer gig my niece gave me the Stanley french press thermos combo. It has been all over the world where it has pressed out coffee and tea with much satisfaction from me.
Those rubber cups, tho - they're just weird to use.
