And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Wow. After looking at it again, I believe you're right. A few years ago, while we were out, our elderly Siberian Husky got her collar caught on the lower limb of the Christmas tree. When we got home, ornaments, lights, and tree parts were scattered all over the room, and the poor dog was cowering in the corner with part of the tree still caught in her collar. Poor thing. We weren't mad at her at all. The fault was entirely ours. We had set the tree up right next to her favorite window. We put the tree back up in another place and all was well. I miss that dog.
I think he was going under the table and a thread got caught on his collar. You can see it riding up his neck as he turns around. Good thing he had an evidence video to back up his story, or it woulda been the shelter for sure.
He was sniffing around the dining table in "people country" - where he doesn't belong - because he smelled food and ignored his training, otherwise his collar wouldn't have gotten caught. If that happened at my house Rover gets to live on the farm starting tonight.
I hope that that was security-camera footage and not some idiot owner just recording it on his phone.
ReplyDeleteLooks like his tooth was caught and he freaked out.

DeleteGood catch Aggie, that's what happened. Poor mutt got traumatized.
DeleteI don't know, my beagle would do that out of spite for lack of doggie treat.
