  1. Yeah, that's not how you extract honey. They're destroying the comb and just getting wax and crap in it.

    3. Whole lotta extra work for the bees to rebuild all that. Good drawn comb is worth its weight in gold to a beekeeper

    4. I thought they cut the caps off the cells somehow and then spun the frames in a centerfuge sort of thing to get the honey out.

    5. It’s one way to extract honey, and I’ve used that method before. I prefer to decap and extract and reuse the comb. But you still have to strain extracted honey because wax, propolis, and bee legs will get into your honey otherwise.
