  3. Seems I read where the F150 Lightnings were splitting blocks at extreme boost levels. Apparently the later 5.8 / 351W Roller blocks would fail right around the 500RWHP level, Supercharged.

  6. Had an Alfa (aluminum block and head) with a crack like that except you couldn't see the separation. Been left out in the winter by the previous owner with just water coolant. There was a former Delta mechanic close to me who took it in. It's been about 55 years and I forget the term, but he needed gas to weld it. Finally, he said "To hell with it" and welded it anyway and apologized for the sloppy job. Didn't look sloppy to me. He took it over to Delta and had it magnafluxed. Still had connections I guess. Great to work with a pro.
