And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I wonder how many people today could fit in one? They're smaller inside than you think. I have a picture of myself and my 5yo son sitting in Rick Mears winning car at the Indy museum at Christmas 1984. I don't think I'd fit today.
if you ever sat in one of those scrawny butt fiberglass dune buggy seats - that was designed by Steve McQueen to fit his scrawny butt. which is why us brawny butts do not fit.
did you ever wonder how many cars like this are gathering dust in a barn somewhere? you could drop a junkyard 5.0 liter in there, have the time of your life, never stress the motor or chassis, for chump change - if you found the car.
The original mirrors are matt silver and the repos are black. There may have only been one on the drivers' left, can't clearly see the right. Also the safety belts are not original IMO. The numbers font looks slightly different on the front. Odd that there's a tube welded in the middle of the cockpit on the right hand side. It's as if it was a repair? Lovely car though.
It'd get ya there fast.

DeleteJack Brabham was the other driver listed on the car, which I believe was a Cooper F1.
