And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My Dad had a 53. 3 on the tree with overdrive. First time I had ever seen 100 MPH when I was 12 years old coming home from Boy Scouts. It was a rocket! Color was a baby shit yellow...
I honestly felt if they'd of held onto making trucks only they might still be around or at least hung on a bit longer. As far as styling I guess each to his own, I was never a big fan of any autos they produced. I will say though that their fans are a loyal bunch

ReplyDeleteThey were WAY ahead of their time in styling! Probably why they went broke. Sure made some nice looking cars, esp. Avanti.
