And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Got a milkshake and onion rings from Dude's Drive In here in town this rainy Saturday.
In the early 80's when I was stationed in Beiber with CDF Helitack, when ever we would head to Redding we would always stop at Dudes. Loved their shakes. If you ever feel like continuing thru Redding on 299 to the coast make sure to stop at Toni's in Arcata. Best damn onion rings!
Looks like a re-purposed A&W shop.
ReplyDeleteLoved A&W and that place looks GREAT too!
I remember it was a Dairy Queen when I was in Jr High,1964-65.

The Susie Q in Rogers, Arkansas if you're ever within 50-miles of it. Maybe 75.
ReplyDeleteThat banana split caught my eye...I made a ton of them when I worked at the Big Dipper, Owensboro KY, back in the '60s.
