    1. So will the guy spotting for you sighting it in if not familiar with this type. Learned first hand. Not familiar with that break at the time. I was the spotter

  2. There are local matches where a line of 8 to 12 shooters take turns shooting at a 1000 yard gong. The most popular cartridge is .300 Win Mag, with a substantial muzzle brake on the rifle to make it bearable to shoot. There just isn't enough ear protection available to make it hearing safe to be next to them.

    3. Twist the plugs in, then put the cups over them. You'll think you're in another time zone.

    1. I LOVE being next to a$$holes with muzzle brakes at the range. All of them wannabes it seems.....

Oh yeah, also those with arms that fling the empties at my shooting station. Ben Avery in PHX at least has shields to prevent that. First world probs...........

  5. Try it with a M82 and see what happens .... THAT has a very efficient brake on its muzzle! (Helpful hint - don't try to get in the shade of an earth mover (scraper) when your fri new are shooting a Barrett2 about 15 yards away. The side blast from the brake will loosen the dirt caked on the bottom of the scraper and dump it on you just after you get behind your rifle in that shady spot. DAMHIK
