And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I ain't even gonna look, I know I can't afford it. Anyway, I got all that and a lot more, over the past 20+ years, in the Ryobi 18 variety. Much more affordable. I do have a PC long handled angle grinder (120v) and it runs like a scalded bat.
I picked up a Ryobi string trimmer that uses the 18v battery all the rest of the tools use. It replaced my 2 stroke gas trimmer, not as robust but I don't have to deal with 2 stroke fuel at all and now have still another (bigger) battery for the rest of my batt tools. Having said all that the PC tool collection is tempting...
Buy cheap buy it twice. Buy Milwaukee and buy it for once. Remember seeing the trade in table at the hardware stores? You got something off a new tool if you tossed an old tool on the table. Never did you see a Milwaukee tool on one of those tables.
385 is not too bad if you need all that stuff. Just the screwdriver and impact driver from Milwaukee goes for 169.

ReplyDeleteThe Ryobi batt tools have been doing a great job for me the last 5+ years.
DeleteI've got most of them. No complaints whatsoever.
