  2. Doesn't affect night vision as much as other wavelengths. And that instrument panel is a curious mix of old and nearly-new.

  3. You should see my plane....Built in '81, some original, some state of the art. Steam guage with aspen and a garmin 750/

  6. My BIL, a defense contractor was reviewing electrical engineering paperwork for some B-52 work when he stumbled across paperwork written by his father 40 years earlier.

  8. And as usual, a few bulbs that died... sigh... How typical. Checks fine on preflight...

    1. At the USAF comm site I worked at, going around testing panel lights and replacing bad bulbs was the first thing we did on each shift. I'm not sure if I ever had a shift without burned out bulbs.
