Here is Olympus Mons, the tallest volcanic mountain in the solar system (found on Mars), superimposed onto North America.

  7. The largest mountain on the Earth is Mauna Kea (Big Island Hawaii), 10205 meters from the sea bed to the top (4205 meters of it above sea level).
    Olympus Mons is 21,287 meters tall.
