And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I cant tell. Is there a face cut? There doesnt seem to be so thats one many things to suggest the guy is a moron. Must be on the side away from the camera.
Wow. Moron is right. It's almost too easy to count the things that guy did wrong, not the least of which was to not be wearing a hardhat while cutting a tree that's nothing but widow makers, and dead ones at that. That's not to overlook how he landed on the back of his neck while still holding a running saw. He'd be lucky to survive that without some sort of permanent injury. Sometimes it's just best to suck it up and pay a Pro. He probably realizes that if he's still alive. The Pro would have been much cheaper that the hospital bill.
agreed really not knowing what he is doing. no face cut. final cut from wrong side of tree. should have cut lower, while standing on ground. that puts the second tree between him and the one he is falling, shielding him from screwups. giving him opportunity to step behind second tree, while shutting down saw. always have your escape path planned and cleared. he is lucky to be alive.

Awful to watch this.
ReplyDeleteAny word on his injuries, survival?

ReplyDeleteThe guy flipped out for sure about felling a big tree.
ReplyDeleteYou can see the missing notch when the tree bounces... I really wonder if landing like he did on his head/neck broke it?
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope not. That was hard to watch.
DeleteFace cut went down with the tree. It does look like a broken neck though.
ReplyDeleteFunny that is not! That's the stuff of quadriplegic nightmares and there ain't nuthin funny about that!
