“Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem.”
Yup, no axe should ever touch an electric grinder.
I'm curious, why?I use a battery powered Ryobi angle grinder all the time and it seems to work fine, though it does seem to shorten the tool's life. Is that it, the tendency to over-grind?
I looked up the difference between a hatchet and an axe, I was curious.>A hatchet shouldn't be confused with a hand ax. A hatchet technically is an ax yet it has a hammer-head or a butt on the back-side of the blade while an ax should not. A hand ax has a broad flat area, like a wedge shape, and without the v-shape cut out of the blade. ... An ax can have the same length handle as a hatchet.<https://spotterup.com/the-ever-useful-hatchet/#:~:text=A%20hatchet%20shouldn't%20be,cut%20out%20of%20the%20blade.&text=An%20ax%20can%20have%20the%20same%20length%20handle%20as%20a%20hatchet.
Thanks for the link. Ordering a slightly different Gerber backpack hatchet - been looking for one....
