Keep that hatchet sharp

  1. Yup, no axe should ever touch an electric grinder.

    1. I'm curious, why?

I use a battery powered Ryobi angle grinder all the time and it seems to work fine, though it does seem to shorten the tool's life. Is that it, the tendency to over-grind?

  2. I looked up the difference between a hatchet and an axe, I was curious.

    >A hatchet shouldn't be confused with a hand ax. A hatchet technically is an ax yet it has a hammer-head or a butt on the back-side of the blade while an ax should not. A hand ax has a broad flat area, like a wedge shape, and without the v-shape cut out of the blade. ... An ax can have the same length handle as a hatchet.<
