The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Laminate flooring has a high percentage of glue and not susceptible to much moisture content. Not accurate enough for woodworking. Gives an inaccurate reading through drywall if a wire or pipe is behind it. Stick with the pins.
