Aut cum scuto aut in scuto
Bought the Ryobi 18V last year, comes in handy. But, the chain tends to jump the track, and the motor is out at the end and it gets heavy pretty fast. Looks like the DeWalt puts the battery out at the end too, so....
The battery is behind the lower hand hold. The weight of the saw holds it in place on top of the branch and helps with the cut. It does work well for around the yard.
My gosh we love those electric pole saws. They have just enough battery power to cut enough foilage that when hauled off, you are ready to go home too.
