And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
You guys must be from NW Indiana as am I, because it's only us that hold on to the myth that these were cool cars. Looking back Studes were always behind in the styling department compare to the other automakers. Now if we're talking about Stude pick-up trucks I'll give you an argument. I always felt that if they kept that line going that they'd of okay over time
This guy, formerly from Maryland, now in Florida, believe these were cool cars. Also believe they were favored by drag strip guys for their aerodynamic styling, supposedly faster than the competition. Anyway I always thought they were cool, compared to some of the overdone styling with massive tail fins. Looking at you Dodge and Cadillac. Thanks for the great photos to CW

DeleteMy first car...bought in in 1963 for $50...drove it home. Had 1/2 tank of gas when purchased. Had it painted at Earl Scheib...Black...for $19.95.
