In high winds, tree roots can tug at the ground, shifting it and giving the sense that the earth itself is breathing from r/nextfuckinglevel

  1. It adds a note of suspense when you're seeing that of your front porch during a hurricane - and the path of the tree, should it come down, is onto your cars. Thankfully, it didn't come down, but it was a high pucker factor to watch.
