And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Portable Band Saw?? First time I've seen such a tool.
Had one of these for a couple of years before going to free standing 4x6" saw from Horrible Freight: https://www.grizzly.com/products/Grizzly-Portable-Bandsaw-with-Stand/G8692
Best thing since sliced bread, been using the Milwaukee version since the 80's. My current one is wall mounted, makes an excellent little vertical band saw. Great product, get the Milwaukee.
Had a wall powered one in the late 60's for cutting feeder pipe for electrical wires going into condoa....saved a lot of hand sawing I'll tell you....used a hydraulic bender, then cut to fit....we called it a "Powered Hack Saw"....
We have a couple at the boat yard, they make getting twisted or broken shafts out easy. Better than a sawz-all.
ReplyDeleteMilwaukee had made 'em for years. Real elbow breakers.

I have one at work, a Milwaukee
ReplyDeletegreat for cutting strut or liquid tite or rigid conduit if your are using a portable threader
They make a real small one. You walk around looking for stuff to cut.
DeleteOh great. I didn't know they made a battery powered one. Thanks so much for yet again making me revise my toy priority list.
