High Flight in a Connie is Right

  1. The TWA Hotel at JFK has a Connie next to it that is now set up as a bar. The hotel is very nicely done and is worth a visit.

  2. The prettiest piston-engined airliner ever. Not the greatest plane to fly in from Travis AFB, CA to Anderson AFB, Guam, via Hickam AFB, Midway, and Wake Island. They just couldn't get up above all the weather. It was much worse if you were only three years old. Perhaps not as bad as for the sailor detailed to help Mom with twins barely old to fly. Perhaps.

  4. I wonder if that's the same one that's parked at the Kansas City Downtown Airport.
