And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My inexpensive ugly as heck handwarmer solution was a cast off windbreaker sleeve with loops taped onto back. It had no insulation and its only job was to keep my hands dry as I trudged along. Handy place to stash a small mini Mag Lite flashlight though (this was before headlamps) too. I suppose it would be good to layer with fleece on both sides, one for warmth, the other side for stealth.
