  1. I found it! Damn talk about camouflage! I look for awhile before seeing it, I must be going blind...

  2. Took me several minutes. Increased the resolution to 150%. In hindsight, I didn't need to, but wow, that was hard to see. Then, bing, there it is.

  3. Good thing he's looking at the camera, or I don't think I would have "spotted" him.

  4. Incredible camo. Not as effective as an Eastern diamondback's in a pine flatwoods, though.

  5. I seen him straight away. Sometimes I get lucky like that. A magnificent animal.

  7. I look for cryptic fish, and everything else, in the undersea video review I do. This one was tough. Back in the day, i wonder how many Bobcats I missed while doing salmon spawning ground surveys out in the middle of nowhere in the Oregon coast range. I've seen real fresh cougar tracks on the stream bank. but no. I've never seen a cougar in the wild. Only a few black bear, but running away
Some guy in Oregon put up a Web cam with a black bear with cubs, hibernating under a house on his property.

  8. For me, its the upside down 'triangle' pattern formed by the eyes and nose which helps me find the hidden animals.

    1. Look at patch of snow at top of picture - the bottom point of it is pointing at the head.
