Given recent history, it's hard to imagine that this actually is coming out of the mouths of this administration's spokesmen.

But it is.

The United States does not support Egyptian and Emirati airstrikes against Islamist militias in Libya because the U.S. believes the crisis in Libya must be resolved politically and without outside interference, a Department of Defense spokesman said Tuesday.

This is nuts on so many levels.

First, at least the Egyptians are trying to put the hurt on the animals that killed their citizens the other day, which is much more than you can say for how this administration reacted after their Libyan ambassador was killed by similar barbarians in Benghazi.   The Egyptians have the absolute right to do whatever they think necessary to protect their people, and Obama can shove his moralizing, in large part because:

Second, who was it that organized an unauthorized war to overthrow the prior government in Libya?  Was it Obama?  Yes it was.  Who then left the country with a huge power vacuum that resulted in the creation of another vast area of uncontrolled piracy, religious and tribal militias, violence and chaos?

Again, it was the proponent of "Smart Diplomacy."

Sooner or later, even the Democrats are going to have to realize that this idiot and his crew of children are going to do immense additional harm to the country and the world, and by extension to their own party.  When the Democrats start calling for impeachment, you'll know this truth has finally sunk through their thick skulls.

  1. Stand in Egyptian shoes for a moment. The Obama Doctrine calls for drone strikes anywhere in the world...and Egypt can't do this?

    1. Apparently the hypocrisy escapes this administration, even though it's totally clear to any seven year old.
