And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It's pretty much as I remember it. Beautiful place with extremely polite people. Had cars slowing down for me when I was walking on the sidewalk and still 50 feet from the crossing, which funny enough always made me hurry up to get there! Even the seagulls were quiet(er), if you can believe it. You would think you were in Limbo, all was calm and still, even time... In Oslo I got lost and ended up some 100 feet inside the muslim part of town... Different story altogether. Made a quick 180º.
