When you backpack in the desert, it's shorts weather year around unless it's raining or snowing, until you stop moving. Then you put pants on. Not before. Or, build a White Man fire.
Look at the background mountains. If that isn't photoshopped in, the rattlers and scorpions won't be coming outside for months yet.
I still can't decide if this is the backside of the Sierras, Joshua Tree vicinity, or over in the Great Basin. They all look similar. Either way, it looks to be high desert, not Sonoran.
Nah. Just leave some food out, and you'll have all the 'yotes in 10 miles visiting before morning.
