And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Been open roading with my Lovely Melis since last Saturday. From Michigan, into Colorado, and now down into southwest Utah. We've covered just over 2,400 miles of open road, and I have to say that highway 12 in Utah, from Bryce down into Torrey, UT has to be the most beautiful 100 plus miles of road I've ever rolled down.
As I read where you said you were in SW UT, I thought you have to take Rt 12. So good on you that you did.
My next road trip is to Tonapah Test Range NW of Vegas. Free tours and not-to-miss museum. You have to schedule the tour in advance. But the museum does not require reservations.
Anon @ 1520 Why? The only thing I see wrong, is the one or two hens in the take. If you've never been upland bird hunting, you missed a lot. So sad for you. I have many fond memories of hunting with my Dad and little brother, both gone now. Then, later, with my son, helping him train that little yellow lab into an outstanding bird dog. She not only was perfection in the field, she was a duck hunters dream. She was so smart, she actually trained my male Doberman to be an excellent hunter. Now, all I have of all of it is memories. But, that's enough.

Still have the Winchester model 12 12 ga that my ol gray haired pappy put supper on the table with like his pappy afore him.
We didn't have a bird dog back then so my brother and me would run em out and bring em back.
I can smell the inside of #18. Mmmmm, good!
