  1. Yup, the 2002. I remember as a kid being at a local car show when this model was introduced. Wanted one on the spot but could not afford it. By the time I could afford one, they were long gone and now cost far more than when new even adjusted for inflation if even marginally intact. Sigh.

    1. Had a chance to buy one for $5k back in the late 80s but didn't have the money. Should have sold a kidney.

  2. One of the few cars that look good with round tail lights. Ferrari's and early Vette's being some of the others.

  3. I know that rear profile anywhere. Lusted after one when I was younger, with a little work they were very hot machines.

  5. Your '73 2002 would have had the round tail lights. The '74s and later had the squared-off tail lights.

  6. Had a '70 and 2 '72's. Ti head and E-12 head on the '72's. Really responds to compression, porting, carburetion, cam and exhaust. My twin webber version saw 153bhp at the wheels. The basic motor (M12) in 1500cc form on 75" of boost (in qualifying) was good for 1400-1500 bhp during the turbo era of F1. Very good engineering. A really well tuned 2 litre can be wrung for 330 bhp today, just bring money.
