And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Haven’t done Joshua exact, but logged countless hours (no exaggeration) in the Mojave. Only time I ever “heard” soundlessness. Wild experience unmatched anyplace else. Even sailing had a lapping of water and other places the whoosh of vegetation in the wind. Only way to describe it was a pressure sensation in the ears, but even that doesn’t do justice. Even thought I was being silly till my hiking partner made a similar comment

ReplyDeleteLooks well thought out, drainage looks good. "Could" be on a well. Septic would be as many yards away as necessary. Not very defensible.
