The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? There are many flight simulators (computers) on the market that get real close to the exact cockpit of several jet fighters. My favorite is the A-10. Its as close as I am ever going to fly one.

None of this modern military stuff is just jump in easy peasy. The Ukrainians managed to rip a Leopard turret out of a tank during training collision. And put pictures of it on the web. You can see the tank track imprints on the decapitated unit.
