  1. No obvious blood and it seems to be only snowing right above the guy. Fake?

    1. Yes! It's fake! Thank you for your insight. You are very, very smart. We appreciate you showing us just how smart you are. Is your ego feeling better? Don't forget to shout photoshop!

    3. I appreciate people pointing out photoshop. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I'm looking first thing in the a.m. Sometimes people point out stuff I didn't see at first.

    4. Anon 7:46, you pissed I got here first? I didn't say it was fake, I asked if it was fake. Thanks Elmo for the link. The cropped photo looked suspicious the full frame gave a better perspective. NOT PHOTOSHOPPED!

    5. The snow that looked odd in the cropped version might have been snow unloading off of the trees, which can be seen easier in the larger photo. They're both great pictures that Donnie can amaze his grandchildren with in a few years.

  2. The biggest one I've ever seen crossed the road just ahead of me at 3:30 am one morning. Its head was over the center line while its tail extended over the fog line of a ten foot lane. I never imagined they could get that big.

    1. Yep, saw one in Colorado crossing the tracks that was an easy 10 ft.

    1. In order to maintain the proper carrying capacity of a territorial apex predator. In California, where there is a law making it illegal to hunt them, their only options are bad behavior (ie: killing livestock, pets and sometimes people) and/or starvation. When hunting was allowed there was seldom a problem with the big cats. Now they're everywhere, including the riparian area in front of my home.

    1. yeah, if you're an Aztec and that's your totem.

If it's got your prize heifer or your child in it's mouth, not so much.

    2. better to be hunting them than having them hunting me. once wild animals lose their fear of humans, the game changes.
