And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Same tooth design as my hand saws in tree service. They cut like mad! Not fun to sharpen, but a 14" one from a hardware store can be as cheap as $20 or as much as $40+, curved or straight. They also come in folder models with a 10"ish blade. They blow the doors off of the old style toothed saws.
It is for splitting the pelvis while field dressing deer or any other game. While cutting the pelvis, the tang on the end prevents piercing the intestine or bladder.
I'm gonna get me one of those to replace my hand rip saw.
ReplyDeleteThat tang on the end would greatly reduce the usefullness.

ReplyDeleteThat's a piss-poor design. Sure to bang up and destroy knuckles and fingers.
ReplyDeleteBest put a conventional handle, or go with a folding handle that also serves as a blade protector.
But people will buy it because of the brand name and it looks cool.
Reminds me of the old Wyoming saw..except there's only one blade and a poor grip, instead of being a real saw, miniaturized.
