  1. Did we give up on NASA, going to the moon, and space exploration due to costs, losing interest or did "we" give in to some European Union goobers?

    1. None of the above.

      NASA is doing all they can, mostly limited by their 60s era contractors and congressional mandates (SLS/Artemis for example).

      The European Union is doing their first ever deep space mission (they partnered with NASA on others). That probe pictured above, Juice, was launched on the 14th but will take years to reach Jupiter. Its mission is projected to run from 2031 to 2035.

      American space flight is split between NASA and the private sector and is doing fine.
