  1. One of those designs that look fun on sketches and comp graphics, but in reality it doesn't fit urbanistically. And the whole appeal will disappear once graffiti "artists" start utilizing those white canvas.

    1. For the builder, cheaper and less maintenance than a protruding balcony.
      However it cuts into the interior floor space.

    2. 10-years or so down the line, exposure to the "elements" may require $erious $tructural repair to an exposed balcony. This example does have questionable taste in colors.
