And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It has always amazed me that there is SO MUCH talent that is unrecognized, yet there are so many with practically no talent making millions in the music industry.
Wow, what a voice! Interesting how his accent didn't really come through til he shifted to the upper register. Then he stepped on the gas. I like this rendition, it gives it an unusual depth where the "grace" being sung of is not a soft and gentle thing, but a power just barely on the edge of understanding.
Metal has some amazing vocalist. Not just screaming and shrieking. Pretty sure this is the same vocalist who was/is in a band called Orion's Reign. They have done a number of metal Christmas songs, among other things. This is Santa Claus is Coming to Town: https://youtu.be/F2XL4nphaws
The metal Christmas song you never knew you needed: Oh Holy Night, sung in Finnish by the incomparable Floor Jansen. Raskasta Joulua - Oi Jouluyö https://youtu.be/6asFfKqE2vg?t=82

Old OC, agreed. Once you've heard Floor sing live, everything else pales into insignificance. 'Ghost Love Score' remains my favourite song.
