As much as I would love one for a bright south west sunny day, I can’t beat the functionality of my boonie hat. Fold it up it into a tiny ball to fit in my backpack, use it as a towel to wipe the sweat off my face, and of yea use it as a hat to block the sun for my face ears and neck
Honestly I got one from cvs/walgreen type of store on way to hike. Stopped to get last minute sunscreen, Didn’t even know they had hats, needed a hat, Don’t even know the name. Eventually added brim snaps myself. I beat the hell out of them and pay no mind till it’s time to buy the next one.
