F-94 Starfire, developed from the T-33, which was developed from the P-80 Shooting Star of late WW2. The prototype (FA-356) went to Korea along with the early production versions, replacing the F-82 Twin Mustangs of the 68th Fighter Group. My dad was the armorer for FA-356, I think its gone to the National air Space museum in recent years.
