And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Tommy Lasorda having a disagreement with the Phillie Phanatic 08/28/88. Tommy was worth his weight in gold.
I lived lived in the LA area, Lasorda was on TV all the time, he made funny TV commercials for local car dealers and restaurants and he was always on the 9:00 AM LA Talk shows. Steve Garvey when he retired from Baseball went on to Host LA Talk Shows and Steve's wife Cindy did too.
As was Billie Martin and a few others.
