  1. The Swiss make wonderful chocolate treats, but Toblerone is not one of them.

Toblerone is cheap, over milked, under cacaoed, over sweet junk.

  3. My Italian grandmother used to give us kids a Toblerone nougat with almonds at Christmas. They came in a small box wrapped in wax paper inside the box.

  4. By no means a chocolate expert, but "Sublime" chocolate bars from Peru are an special treat. Readily found in most neighborhood "Latin" stores. Regular or white chocolate.

    1. So that weight comes out to 4.5 kilos, which is at least somewhat of a surprise. I was thinking it would be more like a whole kilo conversion.

  10. My wife bought me one of those giant Hershey bars one year, mostly as a joke. Thing must have weighed about 10 lbs. Thing is, they have to add *something* to the chocolate to stiffen it up. Otherwise, at that size, it would just droop or break when you picked it up. It didn't taste right, didn't have the same texture as the smaller regular sized bars. At the time I actually tried to eat it, but hard pass now. Just ain't the same.

    1. I bought a Hershey bar a few months ago after having not eaten one in a few years. I didn't know what it tasted like. Didn't taste like chocolate, tasted like man made chemical concoction. A few days later I got all the way off the chocolate train. Prolly never eat it again, at least, not the affordable stuff.
