This is the reconstructed skull of a Dunkleosteus, a large predatory fish with armored plating that lived roughly 380-360 million years ago.

 


In life they may have looked like this.



Probably tasted like chicken.

  6. Either a turtle or some sort of bottom-dwelling fish. Nothing like that would be capable of swimming around after prey - it would be an ambush predator.
