And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Talking Heads. Saw them at the Greek Theater in Berkeley in the 1980's.
You know just this morning, I found myself behind the wheel of a large automobile. And then I found myself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife, and then I asked myself, "well, how did I get here?"
I didn't have any good answers to that, but that's a whole different song....
I recommend "True Stories". Fab film written by Mr Byrne & my HS classmate, Beth Henley (Pulitzer for "Crimes Of The Heart"). John Goodman is great as is Swoozie Kurtz as "The Laziest Woman In The World".
I saw Three Dog Night last night... they did a lot more music I knew than I remembered. They'd start a song & I'd be saying to myself "they did that?". Happened more than once... This group is like that....
