And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Dear Ghostsniper, I look forward to your take on the technique used to create this lovely floor pattern. At first I thought it was some kind of inlay process, but on closer inspection it appears to be different types of stain over a standard hardwood floor?
I too am waiting for Mr Ghostsniper. You can see the planks fairly clear and I suspect some kind of stencil arrangement was used. The flooring to me looks like long leaf yellow pine ; the old growth type with the tight rings. It is beautiful for sure.

DeleteThat is paint. Can't tell the wood type, don't think it's pine. Nails close to the end would split the pine.
