    2. samoore is correct. Neah Bay is the westernmost town on the US mainland. Cape Alava is the westernmost point on the US mainland.

  7. Easternmost point is East Quoddy Head, Lubec, Maine. (I have a great photo of it but can't figure out how to attach it.)

    1. I'm spending the 4th of July at the furthest points of the U.S. each year. East Quoddy Head is next year. I spent the 4th this year in Barrow (Utqiagvik) Alaska. Not much going on there. At least Maine will have beer.

    2. Actually the easternmost point is West Quoddy Head, believe it or not. East Quoddy is in Canada.

  12. I wouldn't want to go at the most southern point. Too many 🌀 and too hot. Northern most is waaaaay too cold. I will just stay right here

  13. If you follow US Route 1 North you will end up at Madawaska Four Corners Park. Rt 1 continues but that is the Northernmost point on Rt 1. http://www.madawaskafourcorners.org/

  14. I'm pretty sure that the northern most point of the continental United States is either the NW Angle in MN or Maine.

  15. I was stationed at NAS Key West from 1966 to 68. Looking at Google Earth now, Wow, has it changed.
