  1. Polish tags. When I was living and traveling around Europe I noticed lots of 1960s, & 70s American muscle cars.

  4. During the 70's and 80's military members who had a change of duty station to Europe would get muscle cars to have Uncle Sam ship them over. They would drive them for the first year then sell them locally and turn around and buy a Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, or Mercedes and have it shipped backed to the states by Uncle Sam when they got stationed back in the states.

In 86 I was at Ramstein on a temporary duty and there was an Army Warrant officer who had planned on getting a BMW 318 back to the states. It backfired when he got a controlled one year tour to Korea. I bought the year old 318 for half of what it was worth in the states and shipped it to Florida for $1400. I had to put a $200 catalectic converter on it and the wife put 140k miles on it before I traded it.

    1. Eye of the beholder willard. I think it's as redneck as hell!
But then I'm a little bit that way too.
