Komatsu D155W Amphibious Radio-Controlled Bulldozer

Thirty-six units were manufactured in the early 1970s and only the five units owned by the Asunaro Aoki Construction Company survive. These bulldozers were fully restored for reconstruction work following the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.

  2. Radio controlled. I assume that 31 of the units were too radioactive for use after being used at Fukushima.

  4. THOSE ARE NOT BULLDOZERS, THEY ARE TRACK LOADERS. DOZERS HAVE A STRAIGHT BLADE. A LOADER HAS A BUCKET. RAN THEM BOTH FOR MANY, MANY YEARS.

    1. It's a bulldozer with a clamshell blade. Note no lift arms and push arms attached to undercarriage. It can't raise very far.

    5. That's a four-way bucket, a clamshell bucket is a different thing entirely.
