  2. 1968. The '67-'68 both had full width grilles, the '69 grille was narrower, with separate headlight doors. The easiest way to differentiate '68 from '67 is the side marker lights, first required in 1968. The '68 had wrap-around front parking lights (as in this pic) and emblem shaped side markers on the rear quarters. Both absent on the '67 - first year of the Firebird.
