And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
1968. The '67-'68 both had full width grilles, the '69 grille was narrower, with separate headlight doors. The easiest way to differentiate '68 from '67 is the side marker lights, first required in 1968. The '68 had wrap-around front parking lights (as in this pic) and emblem shaped side markers on the rear quarters. Both absent on the '67 - first year of the Firebird.
