Cool

  1. Nifty! As long as you understand what you're getting. It's smaller in size, and power, and more expensive. Our current downsized micro is 1.0 cf and 1100 watts power and was purchased at Walmart 2 years ago for $40. Yes, $40.

Don't forget the matching toaster oven!

  2. Put one in our refurb'd '56 Shasta canned-ham camper. Modern tech with an old feel.

  3. I have two old microwaves. One is 30+ years old and the other 20+ that I use everyday.

    1. Our first microwave (bought in 1978) lasted 16 years at our house then we gave it to my maiden aunt where it lasted her another 12. Knew how to build to last in those days.

  4. Doesn't look like either of the old microwaves I remember.

  5. If it's vintage it should say Radar Range on there, but it's likely still copyrighted. My gram bought an Amana Radar Range in the 70s when they first came out, I think she paid 5 bills for it which was a bit of money back then. It lasted longer than she did.
