And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I still say that if Studebaker shifted their business model strictly to trucks they might've stayed in business. I live in NW Indiana and we still see our fair share of these beauties around
The early fifties Studebaker trucks were way ahead style wise. I had a '52 for a while which didn't need much work but I was in school an couldn't afford it. Sold it cheap.
Problem with the Studs in the early 50's, according to my Dad, they could smell a hill a mile away and start slowing down...good looking trucks, though....flatlanders loved 'em....
