A New Orleans Classic - The Vieux Carre

 


3/4 oz of rye, sweet vermouth, and cognac, 1/2 oz Benedictine, with dashes of Peychaud’s and Angostura bitters stirred over ice and garnished with a lemon zest.

  2. A breakfast tipple. I don't drink this stuff straight. However, I do smother my corn flakes with it.

  3. I take my bourbon, rye, or other whiskeys neat, though I will throw an ice cube in from time to time.
