And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Notice anything about them all? Something they all have in common?
Go look up this paper that documents some of the early results from the Webb telescope. The first word in the title is "Panic". Turns out a lot of what we think we know about the universe doesn't hold up and the world of Astronomy is in an uproar. It is signed by some very credible scientists.

I am assured that there are some Chinese mathematicians and physicists that should be on the lists. German chemists lead their field of study for decades. French researches into practical uses of physics cannot be denied. Arab studies into mathematics, written language and optics generally is ignored by other cultures. the one great population lacking input to the advances in any sciences is sub-Saharan Africa until they were exposed to European and Asian influences. I may be wrong on that, but then I doubt I am.
